Maintenance advice
After skating through water, remove the wheels and dry and degrease the bearings. This helps prevent the bearings from seizing up. Be sure to change the brake pad once it has worn down to its limit. We recommend rotating the position of the wheels so they wear down evenly (see instructions). To further improve glide performance, replace the bearings with ABEC 5 or 7 bearings. Care advice is available on the Oxelo YouTube channel.
Storage Tips
We recommend keeping your inline skates in a dry place. After use do not dry near a naked flame or in direct contact with a heat source.
Not designed for roller hockey or aggressive inline skating.

Additional information

How do they stay comfy and fitted?
The boot is made from mesh which is light, breathable and comfortable. The foam padding added to the back of the liner, around the ankle, and to the tongue, also helps add comfort. The "cuff" (the part of the boot that comes up your leg) is stiff in order to hold your foot and ankle in place. A triple fastening system (laces, rip-tab and buckle ) holds your foot snugly inside the boot.
Do you need to choose between glide quality and handling?
Thanks to the design of the Decathlon FIT 3 skates, no! The composite frame, 76mm wheels and ABEC 3 bearings provide a glide performance that's suitable for beginners. The monobloc frame cushions vibrations really well. It is reinforced with fibreglass to make it more rigid, and its length makes it easy to handle while remaining stable. The soft 78A wheels offer better traction and dampen vibrations.
How much do the Oxelo FIT 3 men's skates weigh?
2.3 kg per pair in size 7.5.
How can you maintain/repair your skates?
You can replace parts or repair your skates using spare parts available in store, online and at your local Decathlon store's workshop. The parts you can change are the 76mm wheels and ABEC 5 or ABEC 7 bearings. The brake stoppers fit both the left and right foot.
How can you make your skates last longer?
To extend the lifespan of your skates after skating through water, dust or sand, take the wheels off, dry them and degrease the bearings with a dry cloth. You can also make your wheels last longer by regularly swapping them around so that they wear more evenly. Find our advice and tutorials on our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/oxelo/videos
How can you make the wheels last longer?
It's normal to switch your wheels around because they don't wear out evenly. The reason? We often skate with our feet sloping slightly inwards when we push off and turn. If you want to stop them wearing out, switch your wheels around! It's best to do so in pairs.
What is the maximum weight these Oxelo men's skates can take?
These men's skates comply with the EN 13843 class A standard (adult inline skates). This standard applies to "Roller sports equipment - inline skates" designed for a person weighing between 20 kg and 100 kg. This European standard defines the safety requirements and the specifications for the test methods, markings, and information provided by the manufacturer, with the aim of reducing the risk of injury.

    Good value for money

I bought this skates for my boyfriend as a present. Generally we are pretty happy, they feel good, run smoothly, good sizing, the design is ok, simple and black as we wanted... The only thing is the brake, compare to mines, the brake looks just like a piece of hard plastic attached to the boot. Mine is more like a hard rubber so it actually helps braking. He just can't brake with them, it makes noise but doesn't make much friction with any kind of floor. I have to say mines are from decathlon as well, not much more expensive and I'm really happy with them, bought them years ago tho.
And thanks but we don't want to return them ;)
It would be nice if you just improve the break for the upcoming designs. Thanks a lot, because I know how well you take the ratings and actually care about it and use them to improve and satisfy customers. It's such a great chain. Love decathlon!!

    Good beginer skates

Found these online but was afraid I wouldn't find my size (11) nor did I know if they will be comfortable. When I checked online it kept showing me that the size 11 was was out of stock in my local store. So after a week of checking other stores I just decided to go to my local store to see what they had. Surprisingly enough they had every single size on display in store including mine. In both pairs so you can try them out.

The design: When I saw these online I did not like them one bit. However once viewing them in real life they looked the part not the cheap looking in the slightest. Side by side with the FILA brand skated they are the same only difference being the name. Once I tried them on I was sold. No questions I was buying.

About the Feel and Fit: Well I never really roller bladed ever prior to me purchasing these. The skates felt durable and solid once fitted on. Very smooth rolling in store. Out on the streets it handles well and a pleasure on smooth terrain.

The brake: The break sucks. I tried stopping in a controlled manner but it made such a hideous screech that I was getting odd looks. On top of that the braking took way too long and wasn't very effective as hoped. Saying that I removed the brake using the allen keys (that came with the skates) on my second ride.

How they are holding up: After a few uses they looked battered up. I guess I was trying to do T stops and all sorts very badly and still need a lot more hours of practice. Saying that the skates are built well and holding up well although the mid strap did take a scuff and I noticed the strap fraying a little. Don't really need the strap just an extra measure really.

The wheels: The wheels are 76a, they are extremely grippy. So much so that it made me slip up and loose my balance a few times. When I was doing long strides at speed it felt like the wheels didn't push away as smoothly and felt like I had glue on them if that makes any sense (im sure its just me with this issue).
The wheels are soft and are getting worn very quickly. Yes i have been doing T stops but Ive only used them 3 times for a hour or less and they already have lost their shape and I am already looking at getting some new harder wheels. Did not expect them to grind away so fast.

Summary: Overall I think they are some really good skates for a novice or the occasional skater. They are very reasonably priced for what you get and all in all a great durable and cool looking pair of skates.

Safety: I'm not one to preach safety as someone who always thought pads were embarrassing to wear. I ended up twisting my knee, to the point I was not skating for a while with the pain still in my leg as I type. I was going down hill, lost control and you know the rest. Anyway you really need to get a full set of padding Knees, Elbows and wrist guards which is priceless. As I'm still new to this I would not risk skating without the gear now. Nothing cool about scabbed and bleeding flesh.
