Advice

Maintenance advice
Remember to change the brake once it has worn down to its limit. We recommend rotating the wheels regularly so that they wear down evenly, and wiping them down with a clean, dry cloth after each use. To improve glide performance, you can upgrade your bearings to ABEC 5 or 7 bearings as your child progresses. You can find our maintenance tips on the Oxelo YouTube channel in the inline skates tutorial section (www.youtube.com/oxelo).
Storage Tips
We recommend you keep your inline skates in a dry, cool place. After use do not dry near a naked flame or in direct contact with a heat source.
RESTRICTED USE
EN 13843 B standard (60kg max.) Not for skatepark use.

Additional information

What safety precautions should you take?
We recommend all of them: helmet, elbow pads, knee pads and wrist guards. Because you never know which bit of your body you're going to land on.
4 sizes in one skate? Here's how our skates grow!
Our product grows with your child so they can enjoy their skates for more than one season. There are three steps to adjusting your skates: 1. Open lever. 2. Pull or push on the front of the boot. 3. Close the lever. To feel comfortable in your skates, choose a weight that's right for their physical abilities and a size that fits their feet: if their foot is sliding around inside the boot, they'll have trouble controlling their posture and direction.
Do you want to skate comfortably? Introducing the Fit 3 Kids' skates.
Feet stay dry as long as possible thanks to the airy mesh foam and the comfortable semi-stiff boot. Put these skates on easily using the simple, effective fasteners: a micrometric buckle on the top of the boot for more precision, a rip-tab strap on the instep to ensure the heel fits tightly into the boot, and classic or elasticated laces depending on the size. What about the weight? 2.254 kg in JR 13-2½, 2.434 kg in AD 2½-5, and 2.614 kg in AD 5-7!
1 size skate = 4 shoe sizes. How does this scalable system work?
The 3 stage adjustment: 1. Open the lever. 2. Pull on the front of the boot. 3. Close the lever. Using this system, your child will be able to use these inline skates for more than one season. To keep your child comfy, choose skates that are suitable for their feet: avoid skates that are too heavy (not suited to their strength) or too big (their feet will slip inside the boot leading to poor posture & difficulty in controlling their movements).
How comfy are the FIT 3 kids' inline skates?
Semi-soft boots with foam padding for more comfort. The boots are made from airy mesh (fabric that absorbs moisture well) to keep feet drier for longer. These inline skates are very easy to put on thanks to their simple, effective fastenings: a micrometric buckle on the top of the boot for more precision + a rip-tab strap on the instep to ensure the heel fits tightly into the shoe. Elasticated laces on sizes 11-13½ and 13½-2½, and standard laces on sizes 2½-5½.
How do the FIT 3 Junior skates let your child skate and brake easily?
The lighter composite plate makes it easy to learn. It provides a comfy glide. The 70 mm 80A wheels and ABEC 3 bearings offer a good compromise between glide and handling. Our skates are kitted out with a classic rubber brake that you can fit on either the right or the left foot. Spare stoppers are available in-store (reference 8111787).
For wheels and brakes, Oxelo opts for rubber!
Unlike plastic, which skids but doesn't brake, rubber provides good traction. This stops your child from slipping when they push off, as well as helping them brake effectively. What's more, rubber also wears out less quickly than plastic. Our Oxelo teams work hard to keep your child safe - however experienced they are. So we've chosen to equip all of our kids' skates with wheels and brakes made out of rubber, not PVC.
Rubber wheels and brakes: what's their benefit over plastic?
Oxelo is committed to helping your child skate safely, whatever their technical ability. We have chosen to fit all children's products with rubber wheels and brakes, rather than PVC, because our number one concern is your child's safety. Unlike PVC, rubber grips well on hard ground and stops your child from slipping when they push off, as well as helping them brake effectively.Skates in sizes 13½-2½ and 2½-5 must be equipped with 76 mm wheels
How do you make your wheels last?
The wheels will wear out more quickly on some parts of your skates. So switch their positions around regularly. It's time to change them when they've worn down to the first of the seven visible rings inside the wheel.
Do you want to repair or look after your skates?
You can get wheels of different sizes (including glow-in-the-dark ones), brakes, and compatible screws on our website and in your local Decathlon workshop. It's all easy to assemble. Great starter blades

My daughter loves these. Finds them comfortable, fit well (you can adjust the size so they grow with them) and pretty fast.

For the price, there's really nothing to complain about!

    Great skates

I did a lot of research before purchasing these. I found the sizing range to be more appropriate for my child so they would last longer through the expansions. The components used are also of good quality, most importantly the brake and wheels which means they grip. This was important when choosing a skate as I wanted my child to enjoy it and not get fed up with a poor quality skate and give up.

The boot and cuff are very nicely made and appear comfortable. The downside is the liner won't extend to the full length but some other insoles would fix this.

Overall these are a great skate for the money and perfect as a starter skate.

Used and tested to destruction by my daughter.

For my daughter these have been a long time favourite of hers. Coming in at around £30 mark. These are extremely good value for your money, wheels are aggressive enough and give good feed back to a child who knows what there doing on inlines. Chassis being plastic is very flexible and absorbs med / heavy impacts in jumps if you observe the weight categories. My daughter is currently on her fourth pair, lost count of how many wheels and bearings we’ve replaced over her time on these Oxlo inlines, but easily available In store or online and very reasonably priced too. I should really be buying aggressive inlines for her but they are expensive and to be honest, I don’t feel they’d be as good value in the long run, wished I could post a video to show how much abuse these skates can take on a daly bases but, I guess your just gona have to take our word for it. If I was to have a complaint, it’s about the Velcro strap at the ankle, stitching is a little weak with time, but again my daughter uses them to destruction so for kids starting out, or those with a year or two experience wanting to skate to a budget, excellent product.
